We were walking in the grocery when a lady smiled at him. I told Mac to say hi. He shook his head. I said, "Come on Mac, say Hi to the lady." Mac shook his head again, looked at me and said, "Oh mom, she'll live!"
Kids really do say the darnest thing, especially for a two-year-old!
I can't imagine what my kids say sometimes... they sure put a smile on my face!

How Do Kids Grow So Fast?
Last night before putting Braden to bed, I was telling him things about when he was still a baby. I told him I felt it was not too long ago when he was still a baby and was so small. I then said, "How did you grow up so fast?" He looked at me and said, "Uhmmm... by eating of course!"

Business Card
Mac showed me a business card he found on the table. "What's this Mom? Credit card?", he asked. I said "No, it's a business card." He looked at me wondering. So I said, "It's used to call somebody." He quickly smiled, put the card on his ear, and said "Hello? Anybody there?"

Boys Will Be Boys
It was such a sunny day yesterday so we figured we would walk around the neighborhood. When we told the boys, Braden asked "Can we bring our toy guns (mind you these are just their squirting water guns) while we walk?"
We said he can't bring them. Mac then asked wondering "Why?? No bang-bang our neighbors??"
Oh my, I guess boys will really be boys!

Mac Praying
After watching Mickey Mouse's The Three Musketeers, Mac was praying last night:
"Dear God, Thank You for Mickey "HIIII-YAAAAAA" all the bad guys." Complete with a karate chop and kick.

Boys Arguing About What??
I heard my 4-year-old Braden and my 2-year old Mac arguing this morning. Arguing about what? Arguing about nonsense. Literally "Nonsense". Braden was shouting "Nonsense!!" and Mac was so mad and was shouting "Yes Sense!!" Braden: "Nonsense!" Mac: "Yes Sense!!!!" "Nonsense!!" "Yessss Sense!!!!!!" again and again.

Princess Macky
I swear, Mac can be such a princess sometimes! He typically hates wearing shirts with tags because they make his back "owwie". We had to cut tags off his shirts before. But this morning I decided to make him wear his shirt inside out instead so the tag stays outside. You'd think it would end there, but no. He was being extra "princessy" this morning while having breakfast. He kept saying his bumbum was owwie too. I flattened both his shirt and pants and put him back on his high chair. Again he started whining that his bumbum was hurting. That picture was him whining in his high chair this morning.
So, I asked him where it was hurting and he was pointing at the high chair cushion. Sure enough, when we lifted the cushion, there was a small dried pea inside. He quickly shouted "There!", grabbed it and forcefully threw it on the floor. He was sitting happily on his chair afterwards.
He sure reminds me of "Princess and the Pea". That's my boy! My princess!
