Oh No!!!

I was cleaning up the kitchen while Braden was reading a book on the table.  I then accidentally nudged a mug to fall off the counter.  I shouted a big "OH NO!!!!" while I tried to catch it.
Braden then looked up at me and said, "You mean, SH*T."

Yikes... I guess I have to be more careful with what I say when he's around!

Where's Your Wallet?

While in the car, Braden asked "Can we go to the big toy store?  I want to buy something Mommy."
I replied,  "Braden, I don't have money to buy you a toy."
Braden then said "Do you have your wallet Mommy?"
I asked "Why?"
Braden then replied "You have money there!"

Online Shopping Addict?

You'd know if you shop online too much when your three-year old son tells you ---

"Mommy I want toy binoculars. CAN YOU ORDER IT PLEASE?!?!"


Ok. I admit it. I am an online shopping addict.

I love to cook!

Braden just loves the kitchen he received at Christmas. I guess Braden is now smart enough to know that if a person is doing something, you add an "er" at the end.  Just like if someone is singing, he's called a singer; someone dancing, a dancer.  So while he was busy playing with his kitchen, I asked him...  "Braden, you love to cook huh?"  He quickly replied, "Yes mommy!! I'm a COOKER!"

Mommy is very friendly!

I was driving my kids to daycare while we encounter the usual traffic.  The car was crawling just before the traffic light when a car that came from the parking lot needs to exit to the lane we are on.   I let him pass by making a "pass" gesture by moving my hand from left to right.  Braden, so confused with what I was doing, then said , "Huh? Mommy, why you just wave at everybody? You wave at all the cars??"  So I replied, "Yes, mommy is very friendly!"

I'm gonna buy...

"Mommy, a coin!"  Braden so happily said when he found a quarter on the couch.  I said, "Do you want it?  Now that you have money, you can buy lots of food or toys!"  He said, "No no, I want to buy... BOOKS!"

Of course, mommy is so happy and is hoping for a genius in the making! Haha!

TV's broken!!

When our TV broke, Braden was asking to watch something on TV.  I said, "Braden, you cannot watch because our TV is broken." Braden said, "Fix it Mommy."  I said, "No, mommy and daddy can't fix it."  He said, "How about our neighbour???"  I laughed and said, "No, not our neighbour.  We need to call somebody to come here to fix it, but we need to give them lots of money."  Braden, clearly distraught, said, "OH NO... I don't have money, what do we now?"  Then after a few seconds of thinking, he looked at me and smiled, "Wait a minute, wait a minute.  I have a great idea!  Let's all watch the videos in Daddy's computer!"

Yup, that's Braden my TV addict son. If he really wants to watch, he will really find ways to do so!
